OK... here's something for you to think about. How about running a Jedi School for kids on a Saturday morning? I've done a fair bit of martial arts in my time, including working with weapons. We could teach the kids some moves and hopefully get some ethics into them too. We could charge a small amount and the money could go to the Cats Justice Squad. I'm sure I could even talk Mel into letting us do it up there - either on the grass or in the car park area. I can make up a whole bunch of foam 'training sabers' plus we can take forms (series of movements) from the films and teach them to the kids. This could even evolve into a display thing for taking to fetes and carnivals! Thoughts??? gizmodo.com/gadgets/clips/ny-jedi-school-trains-lightsaber-enthusiasts-to-be-bigger-geeks-318539.php

Sounds like a good idea in principle but we would have to check on the legalities ie the kids. We would also undoubtedly require insurance in case one of the kids gets injured or injures another.
Can I leave this with you to look into mate.
I'm sure we can make it work ;D

I'm talking to a guy at work who runs a martial arts class for kids, also the lady who runs Wootton Brownies to get some ideas of what would be involved.

If you want to work with kids you will have to do the new relative child protection courses.
