Due to a lack of contact availability and feedback from our chosen charity of the last 12 months I would like to suggest we choose another for the coming year. My personal suggestion is : www.naomihouse.org.uk/[glow=red,2,300] Naomi House is the childrens hospice for Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Wiltshire and the fringes of West Sussex and Surrey. We help over 220 families with life limiting conditions and support their families. We are there for the good days, difficult days and last days. [/glow] This sounds to me like the kind of thing we should be involved with. The site is updated with info and events on a regular basis ( whilst our previous choice has not been updated since 2007!! ) and contacting them re collecting etc is one click away. Please all post your opinions on this.

Can I suggest Sweet Pea the diabetes charity. Not only is their name a hilarious in-joke ( piss smells sugary in diabetics ). It is close to home, our own Ju is diabetic and these people saved her life when she was 10. Diabetes is a headline grabber for the wrong reason these days as every half educated harry thinks it's all down to being fat. Thanks you Lite-News-Nazi, but you are WRONG, Ju was a skinny little girl when her immunity centres went kerr-plunk. Diabetics face heart trouble, amputation and blindness the longer they have. It's a crap affliction. My two pennies
