I've got 2 ideas of what I wanna do. 1 contains a Kamma and the other one contains Jango style Blaster Holsters... Dunno which one I like best... Here's the concept design... I've got a few colour concepts and I'm not sure which one I like the most... The Colour I want I saw on a Ford Fiesta Titanium, It's a park pink/purple and I'd match that to black, grey and/or white. It's just what colour to put where I'm not sure of yet. And whilst I was in my drawing mode and Watching Indiana Jones I made a Indy Mando! This could work for me as I have kneehigh brown leather boots already, one less thing to buy Got some buckets from work and cut out quite a few pieces of armour. They're a bit thin but ok for my first try. I'll see how this turns out first I've finished college now for the summer so I should start to get this ball rolling and get lots done. I just gotta sort out what colour goes where before I can start buying soft parts. Just wanna get a few ideas of what you guys things looks good/better... /Kath

LinkyAnyone know if the armour this guy produces is of a good quality, they seem ok, but what do I know? ^^ £80 total inc P&P It'll be so much better I think than attempting to build mine all from scratch which hasn't gone too well so far! Tempted to cheat and buy the plates ready made....

That looks pretty good for the price mate. Plus, due to the nature of the material its made of, if you want to add battle damage etc its very easy to add . Sintra/foamex is what my Fett armour is constructed from.

I splashed out and brought it and it arrived today! ;D ;D It's very well made, sturdy, but it will need moulding to my figure! and cropping a bit here and there, i is only small after all...
Ooooh Yeah Happy Mando in Progress!
Got me a pattern the other day and half way into making a mock up using cheaper material to make sure I mod the pattern correctly as the stuff I wanna make the vest out of is rather expensive! oO
*claps in excitement*

Excellent mate. Was quite a surprise to bump into you in Hellerslea's. You going for the expensive material option we discussed?

Yeah I'm gonna get that stuff, I'm half way into making a mock up using a cheap material just to see if it works ok, and to modify it, so far my sowing skills are much to be desired!! so too my ability to read, let alone understand what the instructions are saying!
Sanded down all the edges to the plates yesturday, got sintra dust EVERYWHERE!!!
Smoooooooooooooooooooth!
I'm contemplating changing the design as I found a lovely burgandy vinal, and I could purchance some rub'n'buff and makes the plates like Jango's and have the colour from the vest...
Decisions, decisions!

Ps Your boy looked absolutly awsome in his Jawa costume! ;D

This may seem like a silly question but I'll ask it anyways...
How many times can you put sintra into boiling water? Does heating and cooling and heating a cooling have any side effects - like bubbling, or becoming unable to become pliable after a few times etc...
Silly question over ;D

1. add the collar 2. line the arm hole 3. line the bottom 4. Iron the seams more til they lie more flat
