December 13th - Kenny Baker - Southsea

A nice little event that was well attended by Joe Public and a chance to finaly meet the shorter ( and pleasant ) half of sci fi's best known duo Kenny Baker.

Luke, Ju and Rik were all on top form, as is the norm , and did the group proud.Rik drew a LOT of attention with the public debut of his "toaster", Ju scared the crap out of kids and adults alike at 40 paces with her bellowing whilst Luke just harrased all comers with a large amount of time spent playing heckle the Jedi.

Highs:

Meeting Kenny!
Rik's toaster debut
Winding up their Leia's uptight boyfriend by flirting with her in front of him . ;D
Said Leia giving Kenny a reason not to stand up behind his desk

and, of course, trooping with the usual suspects.

Lows:

Changing in the public area. ( This has been addressed and will NOT be happening again).
The quality ,or lack of it, of their TK .

Sorry I missed this thread...I don't know how I managed it.

The light sabre had half it's LEDs busted and he boasted to BBC radio about how rare and expensive it was. Sorry to bitch, it was a LONG day.
