Another bizarre day in the life of a costumer. Chris Tarrant ( no joke ) had arranged a show with Dave Prowse as the crown jewel. I personally felt sorry for Prowse. Scott and I saw some fool bring in a ROTS item for signing! There were very "special" people in attendance. Bad points in the day....many I will share in private with you all, as we guffaw into our sherries, the dipsticks in the cafe. Good points, sunshine, appreciative crowds, giggling like a school girl with Scott and meeting the man himself. And thanks to all those who sent me nice texts..sorry for no replies. No credit! And on that note : Luke and Ju, The length you both went to to organise and run this event went above and beyond the call of duty. The group as a whole are well and truly in your debt. Thank you for everything. ;D Was a great troop , nice to see some new faces too. My god, did you see the reaction the Wookiee got?  And I thought they went mad for it at the carnival!! Well done to Jonathan for getting his first troop under his belt and for putting up with Doozer in the car.  A big thanks to all involved, I think we left our mark on the event and an additional thanks to Rick and his dad for the lift home ( fancy a stroll mate ). |

What a great day with a fantastic bunch of people. Sorry I had to leave but I had a gig so had to rush back, load the car up, shower, change and be out again by 5:30 otherwise I would have loved to have stayed.
Now we need to organise one of those on the Island!
You guys rock.
